Julie is a certified and professional project manager, consultant, and writer.
Prior to joining the world of content marketing, Julie began her career in publishing where she quickly—and accidentally—fell in love with publishing and found a deep passion for language and project management.
Julie later moved on to becoming a junior project manager at Pearson, one of the largest educational publishers in downtown Boston, Massachusetts where she reached the peak of her publishing career. She took on various editorial and production project management roles and projects, working with external sales teams and customers at universities and colleges nationwide to produce over 200 custom projects and titles each year.
Within the same month that Julie began her role at Pearson, she also started her own business, J. H. Language Solutions. Through the years, and as the digital marketing and technology industries expanded and clashed, she refined and fine-tuned her creative writing skills and began taking on more content writing and copywriting projects and managing complex digital marketing campaigns for startups as well as small- and medium-sized businesses.
In May 2017, Julie left Pearson to focus on managing and building her business full time. In September 2017, J. H. Language Solutions became Jaguar Media Solutions and Consulting, Inc. Along with a small team, Julie continues to work with clients to this day, providing various levels of project management support, from serving as a dedicated project manager on complex, high-risk projects to consulting with small and startup businesses on workflow management and design, and process optimization.
Julie has a Bachelor’s in Modern Languages and a minor in Business Management from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts. She also has a Master’s in Project Management from Bryant University in North Smithfield, Rhode Island, an accredited institution recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Julie earned her PMP certification, as well as supplemental certifications in both Traditional and Agile project management methodologies, and a certification in Business Process Management (BPM) from Villanova University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change (CLIC) at the University of the Virgin Islands.
In her “free” time, Julie is a semi-professional aerial gymnast and dancer and an avid powersports fan. She also loves running, hiking, and reading, and her cat, “Nirvana”.
